NOVEMBER 14, 2022 — The UTSA Department of Political Science and Geography invites the public to attend a post-election panel discussion from noon to 2 p.m. on Monday, November 14 at the HEB Student Union Hidalgo Room (HSU 2.214) on Main Campus.

Panelists will discuss the midterm election result and its implications for Texas, the nation, and the 2024 presidential election.

Stephen Amberg, associate professor of political science
Specializes in American political development, comparative political economy, labor regulation, and popular participation in politics

Bryan Gervais, associate professor of political science
Specialized in political communication and political psychology

Sharon Navarro, political science teacher
Specializing in Latino Politics, Women in Politics, and Race in American Politics

Walter Wilson, associate professor of political science
Specializes in American politics, legislatures, and Latin American politics and representation.

Moderator:

Jon Taylor, professor of political science and director of the Department of Political Science and Geography
Specializes in Chinese politics and public policy, Chinese and American urban politics and urbanization, and comparative public sector ethics.
