Undoubtedly, the movement towards a welfare state model generates behaviors, models and considerations in the foreign policy arena of Sweden and Norway, which we will examine in this research. Since Norway and Sweden have a distinctive pattern in their social services, measuring the relationship between these distinctive patterns and the common patterns that have become mainstream in the international economy is seen as a major concern. Ultimately, this research is the need for our country to use the interactive model existing in the Scandinavian countries in the field of international political economy. However, there are huge differences between our country and the Scandinavian countries in terms of geographic position, population size and financial facilities, it can use some of the welfare state models in our country and some of the welfare state models in our country. behavior of Norway and Sweden in international relations to advance the political and economic relations of our country in the international system.
The concept of international political economy is a relatively new and dynamic problem in international relations. When talking about political economy in international relations, naturally, by integrating basic economic and political data and therefore the definition and interpretation of foreign policy actors in the international system are involved. When one wants to review the political economy of a country, or beyond, of a particular field (like the Caribbean, the Baltic or Scandinavia), it is necessary to treat documented data to analyze the international and political behavior of this one. While private and multinational companies have experienced spectacular developments subject to great changes such as globalization, public policies in different countries are also affected by this trend. On the other hand, the study of the mutual reflection of the national and international problems of different countries of the world in the national and international fields affect their political and economic behavior are among the main things that are considered within the framework of the theories of the international political economy. for proper justification. Scandinavia is like an island in northern Europe, comprising Sweden, Norway and Denmark. What is common to these countries is adherence to the welfare state model in these countries – an issue that touches and is affected by the concerns of actors in their foreign policy. In other words, as long as the economy and the domestic and foreign policies of the Scandinavian countries, in particular Sweden and Norway, are not analyzed with precision, no precise and complete picture of “the international political economy. The existence of welfare states in Scandinavia, and certain specific economic and cultural components and ideas are what distinguish Scandinavia from other European regions. However, the author hopes that given the relative mastery of linguistic resources and the Nordic countries, a comprehensive thesis on the subject can be written which would provide a source for future research in the field of “Scandinavian political economy. “. When it comes to international political economy, a combination of “economics”, “internal policies”, “international relations” automatically arises. Therefore, the types of views of different countries on the issue of economics or international relations fundamentally affect their overall international political economy. This rule is also true for the Scandinavian countries. The assessment of the relationship between economy and domestic policy and foreign policy in the Nordic countries in this research is the main concern. Here, concepts and categories like “welfare state” and “Keynesian economics” multiply. Here, too, the specific behaviors of Sweden and Norway in the international system, including the efforts of both countries to create democratic peace between European countries, mediation in international conflicts and efforts to create peace in the world are considerable. The Scandinavian countries are characterized in the field of domestic politics by problems such as the overall commitment to the welfare state on the one hand and disagreements over policies such as increasing or decreasing income taxes. on the other hand. We need to achieve a reasonable composition and aggregation of the economic behavior and the national and international behavior of the Nordic countries, which allows us to analyze the economic, political and international impact and deterrence of each of the areas on two other areas. In this regard, we are faced with data, each containing a “message” in the above three areas (economy, domestic policy and foreign policy) for Sweden and Norway. Obviously, the impact of these three areas on each other is not equal, and depending on the time, location and nature of the subject they change. Thus, in the international political economy of the two countries, Sweden and Norway, we are faced with many variables and components that change the orientation and behavior of the economies of the two countries in the international system at different times. However, in this regard, we have also seen constants and principles which are not changed even by international conflicts. For example, respecting the principle of neutrality in Swedish foreign policy is an issue to which all parties are committed in this country. Or that the overall structure of the welfare state is frozen in the social and economic equations of the Scandinavian countries. The next topic addressed in this research is the model of social democracy, then the welfare state (as a product of thought and action arising from social democracy). In this regard, we are faced with historical and theoretical developments. How social democracy as a school of thought has developed over the last century and what is the product of the realization and rule of such reflection on the structure of the welfare state. Basically, studying the international political economy of Sweden and Norway without taking into account the concept of social democracy and the welfare state is not possible.
