Almost two-thirds of those polled say they are more likely to work from home after the lockdown, which is why 64% say a home office is now more important.

But 32% say their lifestyle at work will remain the same as before, suggesting that the office still has an important role to play as a hub for innovation, collaboration, education and socialization.

Mark Harvey, international sales manager at Knight Frank, said countries like Germany, Austria, Greece, United Arab Emirates, Singapore and New Zealand may well be among second home buyers in the months to come.
