Speaking to reporters, Raut said India was being defamed internationally due to the worsening Covid-19 scenario.
Welcoming the “Mumbai model” and Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray’s efforts to contain the spread of the coronavirus, Raut called for the need to replicate this model elsewhere in the country.
“India has moved back at least 20 years due to the pandemic. I don’t know how far it has progressed in the past 5-10 years, but the country’s economy and social and political systems are falling apart. are collapsed. Now, only the struggle for existence is on. We will have to fight a great fight to get up, “said the spokesperson for Sena.
He said the number of cases in Mumbai had declined due to the imposition of a lockdown, and added that efforts were being made around the clock to bring the situation under control.

Calling the Covid-19 situation in the country “serious,” Raut said some states had not carried out enough tests.
He said large states like Uttar Pradesh and Bihar have witnessed a sudden increase in Covid-19 cases, and West Bengal is also seeing an increase.
“But in a big city like Mumbai, as we have seen, the numbers have fallen to almost half. The reason is (in Maharashtra) that the chief minister and the administration are monitoring whether the machines are operating at the level of the village or not, ”he added. added.
Mumbai reported 4,014 new cases of Covid-19 on Tuesday, bringing its total to 6,35,541, an official said.
When asked about Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra questioning the alleged cover-up of Covid-19 numbers in Uttar Pradesh, Raut said: “Priyanka Gandhi is (AICC) responsible for Uttar Pradesh. a big state with a huge population.
